German explorer Manfred Fritz Bajorat was reportedly found by two fishermen off the coast of the Philippines this weekend. His remains were found slumped over the radio controls on his ship, which hadn't been spotted in seven years.
Paperwork found on the ship was used to identify Bajorat, who was described as a very experienced sailor. It's believed he may have died suddenly, with the salty air and heat preserving his body.
Police spokeswoman Goldie Lou Siega in the Philippines said: "We have no evidence of a second person aboard and no weapon was found on the yacht."
Proud supporter of the anti fishing, terroristic (lol what?) movement known as Greenpeace.
