Definition-- A forum topic that has consequences. A topic that members have an opinion on placement.
Example-- " I knew when you posted that, it was going to be an ' Innuendo ' just like last time.

I really don't know how you miss this direction. It certainly is more plain and articulated more directly than you have experienced previously in your notorious announced failings.

I'll respond to your comment-- I have no bad record of rule breaking on forums. My involvement in metal detecting forums centered around helping the new person out and participating all across the forum. When people can get together in " off-topic " portions of the forum, whether or not they can get together on hotter issues, it makes for a healthy forum.
My involvement of the issues at my first detecting forum helped bring about an almost complete reversal in the standard on that forum from one of asking when it is not required, to one of detecting sites without asking where it is legal to do so.
When I see a person new to the hobby coming on a forum with a hard luck story because he bought the latest gear and went and asked, rather than looking for a clear restriction, and was told he couldn't detect, that can cause him to lose some lucrative sites close to home and cause him to spend much time and money looking for places to detect.
Myself and mainly one other person did not give up or get into the name calling, cursing and other rule breaking that was directed towards us. I could show you a link where we were told new rules were going to made for just us two. If you consider " failing " to be abiding by constant changing rules and staying determined , then, yes, I could be considered " failing"
The forum I am referring to deleted many of my threads in the " off-topic " portion when I was serving a 30 day vacation and removed many more there when I was put on " permanent vacation " You can check with them for the difference between permanent vacation and banned as some members are classified. That forum wanted to go in a different direction by taking the off-topic fun away and forcing people to post what they wanted them to post. It didn't work.
Once I was put on permanent vacation ( I don't mind you calling it banned ) it was used against me on other forums as they all seemed to stick together to stop discussion. Add to that the joy they seem to get when they have someone to attack in an effort to try to make themselves look better and avoid discussion on the hotter issues they don't want to moderate. You can check that out if you visit them where they are sitting around with next to no traffic wondering where everybody went.
I could show you ,where a search will show ,where I was being talked (lied ) about at a forum before I joined. I did not know that till after I joined. I've seen trolls including authority join forums just to stop discussion and not post on the topic of a thread. Might be the situation here. Being banned from detecting forums for breaking rules and being banned for using the forums for their stated intentions are two different things.
I have never seen where someone showed a link or reference to something I did improper and they don't have to as long as they can use their BS and/or power to stop discussion. If you have a policy or position here that shows what you expect of members in regards to posting links and/or providing references to a site they have been on I have not seen it. If you are making it up as you go along, then, please say so.
I have gotten along well with authority and owners of some sites that I am " banned " from. Sometimes a handful of members are not willing to abide by the stated rules and are allowed to break them, especially if it brings a little excitement to a boring and low traffic forum. I don't consider myself a failure when BS is chosen over me and a detecting forum goes back to their downward spiral.

Nobody cares about your personal history.
Quit being so self centered and do a better job of trying to fit in here.

I did not post that as an opportunity to repeat the very thing that caused your removal from every forum on the world wide waste of time. I do understand that you take great pride in that dubious and un-understandable achievement, and also predict that your continuing to repeat it here may lead to that list growing longer.

Like what you did with my quote. The grandkids do stuff like that on the computer. Can't wait to see how they grow up.

Wow,told em what to do with their forum. That's what happens when I don't intervene.
I agree. We don't care what you did somewhere else, but when you drag it over here we do.
I'd suggest you keep your skirmishes where they belong
:Griz
Are you talking about " skirmishes " at other forums only or are you meaning a skirmish anywhere that someone may have had a disagreement ?
Don't forget to go back over to Politics and post another link to nude photos before you go.

You always have had an issue with "authority".
Keep digging.
