I keep getting the Pop Ups to try this. I understand it's the Newest , Greatest thing according to Windows.
I 'm fine with the way things are now.
What's gonna change ? I just got good with what I have Windows 9 or 7 or whatever...

pay attention to who complains about ads more and why.
MS thinks their new OS is so great they are giving it away for free. I'm good with win 7 and Linux

to transfer files from the removed old hard drive (which was not damaged) and
strip off a lot of Win 10 stuff I will never want or need. Nevertheless, it is still overly
complex.

When XP was in beta I started to get serious about using Linux.. Didn't run windows on my boxes for years then.bought a laptop with win7 and thought it was a good OS. I'm thinking it is time to go back to Linux full time again. I still wish BeOS made it.Maybe ill play with haiku

I had it for about 15 minutes months ago. In the settings area, under a privacy settings of some sort, I turned it off. Windows 10 says" we turned this off for you, but we'll go ahead and turn it back on after a while"

Linux is the way, if I even get aanother desktop in the future.
stable and will actually run some old dos stuff...
my new laptop came with widows 8.1 and I hated to even fool with it...
my geek said put windows 10 on and it'll function for the most part like windows 7...
I did it and it does work rather well but has some quirky stuff from 8.1 you have to deal with, but rarely...
