When out Friday late around 3pm, broke the inlet and it was pretty sporty for my 19ft bay boat. But we trolled for an hour and lost a wahoo at the boat would of been my first one. He came at least 6 ft out of the air when he crushed the ballyhoo. We were in 100 ft off of the inlet. Ended up going to the boynton lockes and getting a baby snook. Not a bad day.

Couldn't possibly be a king. Every time you hook up and fish comes unglued it is always a wahoo. When it happens to me it is a 50lb wahoo! One of the only species you can weigh without even getting fish in boat. Fact.
A few years back we caught a 30+ lb hoo in 95' just north of Boynton - skyrocketed on a trolled ballyhoo twice before we set up. Thought it was a king until we leadered him - it was a great surprise!
