My wife's girlfriend and her husband are both cops. She is a instructor and teaches new recruits. She was pulled over out of town recently and ticketed for speeding 10 over. The other cop didn't want to hear any excuses. I'm not saying you should get a free pass, but come on.Even cops let me go for 10 over.

I have a friend who was a state trooper, and no matter what would never write a ticket to another police officer. I do not know how he handled extreme cases, not 10MPH stuff, but he did.
