Kingfish charters. 42 and 45 pounders. igfa marina record so far.

Booked both boats for some wintertime kingfishing. Action was off the condos in 130-150 with 143 being the hot number. Gogs were getting pounded all day and we broke off a few and had some 30 plus fish sharked but managed a 42 and 45 pounder on the marina scale and broke our current record. Fun day with calm seas.

our marina (Sailfish) keeps an annual board with biggest fish of each species. They need to be weighed on their IGFA scale. Its a fun thing that the 30 or so charter boats do there. We broke our own record twice in 2016, it's been a fun kingfish bite the last week.

That's a lot of kings sacrificed. Maybe fish another area if you keep getting sharked like that.

Not 30 individual fish, 30+ pound fish- meaning we had some big fish get sharked.

Little ones were getting sharked on the south side a few weeks ago too.

OK. For a minute there I thought you were trying to say some sort of record. Since I know many bigger fish have been weighed there over the years and the world records are way way above that, I didn't know what you were trying to say. Not that they weren't nice fish, but the title had me wondering.
