Does anyone know if Crowder makes surf rods? If so, has anyone used them?

Not sure, but I am a fan of their products. Being able to walk right in with a rod that has a lifetime warrantee is a great thing.

I see you're in Stuart.....they are in the industrial complex over near Commerce street, near Master Rigging, Lenco, etc. I would also advise going straight to them and asking. They are very nice there, and if they sell the rods, they can direct you to a local dealer for sure. I've walked in there with a couple questions in the past and they've always been more than willing to help.

Good people, most of my rods bear the Crowder name.

All I use is Crowder's, I even used to work there when I was a kid. Never seen or heard of a surf rod being made by them, however if their blank supplier has them I don't see why they wouldn't be able to put in a custom order for you "assuming they still do some custom stuff which I know they wanted to get away from"

As of last year they do not make surf rods, however there is a guy in Jensen Beach that makes custom surf rods on Hurricane blanks. They are abourn$225 each and are 12-13ft. One piece.
I have 2 of them in storage that are like new, have been used 1 time. I have 2 also like new penn reels with line that have been used 1 time. I will make you a good deal on them as I can no longer use them. Send me an IM if you are interested and I will send you contact info.

Lott Brothers on North Lake Blvd in North Palm Beach has custom surf rods made up. If you don't see what you want they can make one specific to your needs. 561-844-0244.

I was at Crowder's today looking at some new rods and spoke to Rob.

He does not make a surf rod and he said it doesn't pay him to make just one.
