Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge fishing

Anyone been getting any luck here? I took my son out a few weeks ago and the bass were fussy. seemed to like the watermelon fluke the best. A buddy was really tearing it up with a frog last month, but that bite slowed too.

I want to head out there again, but figured a I would check on here to see if anyone has had any luck and what they are hitting.

Thanks

i haven't been out there recently but when i used to go there regularly i had the most luck with old faithful (artificial worm) in dark colors but i mean thats just bass fishing ya know. if you go in the morning top water will probably be effective, i used to just slow troll a small topwater plug behind my yak on the way to my spots in the mornings there and more than once did i not even make it to my spots lol
