Casa de Campo DR

Have a friend going to the DR and staying at Casa De Campo. He asked me to recommend a charter boat to fish with. As I have never been does anyone have a recommendation.

Pete,
VJ is running his boat to Mexico this week for the sailfish bite. At the moment he isn't sure if he'll be fishing in DR this season with the 60' Jim Smith "Unbelievable" he's now running.

I fished with VJ down in DR in the summer of 2014 when he used to run the Sea Check, and he and his mate Chris Stores are an absolute pleasure to fish with.

If VJ is not an option, another very good choice is Daryl Brower on the Contango. http://www.contangofishing.com/

Amazing... I have never heard of the place and yet last week I stayed at Casa De Campo, for a quick over night while working. I was very impressed with the resort. I would have to go with any suggestion that Capt Dave gives and I know I have read many stories with VJ always being the top of any game. Amazing area and one I hope to return to sometime.
