Surf Fishing By SLI

Hey all,

I am getting a new surf rod, primarily to target blacktips and tarpon. Has anyone fished north of the St. Lucie inlet up between Bathtub and the Inlet? I was wondering if that was a good area for big jacks, tarpon, and the occasional blacktop. Any recommendations?

Good area to target all 3. Summertime there will be plenty of all 3 around the inlet and the reef line. If there is bait they will come very close to shore.

That area is also a good area for snook, but closer to the inlet, near the jetty.
