Shooting or Archary clubs near Central Brevard

Like the title says, I'm looking for a shooting and or archery club (or some way to get some knowledge) in Central Brevard County.

Am active member in the FSFA, but am now my daughter has expressed some real interest in hunting and archery. I've never been into hunting myself (unless I was spearfishing or grabbing bugs), but was able to fumble though getting my son set up and going with the help of some friends. He's now proficient with ducks and has gotten a nice deer.

Any direction you could point me to that would be teenage daughter friendly would be appreciated.

When you say Central Brevard, is the Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club within range? While not a hunting club in particular, they have had the FWC hunter safety classes, and there are rifle and shotgun ranges.

There is an archery range at the Indian River County range down in IR county, but I think that's out of your range.

    Hope that's useful

    Thank for the reply.

Yes I am familiar with the Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club, great place. I went there with my son for his Hunters Safety class and will be doing the same with my daughter very soon. Very good group of folks instructing the class. I went and will be going with her for the full class time instead of doing any on-line. I may actually join at some time in the future, it's just really hard to find that block of time available to utilize the place (it's about 2 hours of travel time to get down there and back). Heck I haven't been offshore in probably close to a year because I don't get that time block. The great thing about the FSFA is I can usually get there at least for the meetings.

Do you know anything about the Titusville club?

Lacrosse and Rugby are really taking away from time to take these 2 hunting or fishing, but we are all enjoying them in their sports too.

Wickham Park has a 3d archery club in Melbourne, not sure of any contact numbers though.
Some people are like a slinky, not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you push them down the stairs.

They have a archery "kinda" range an 3-d shoots. $100 bucks is a good deal. I go wo Wickham to shoot though. Won't loose expensive arrows there. No back drop at Titusville. The DW HArdware store in Mims has a 20 Yard indoor that charges $8 bucks *I think*

Wish there was a club in Titusville. I got gear for people to use (Apple Press...etc) would be willing to share in a club. Did that the last place I lived.

    Goo Luck!

If I had to drive an hour each way to the PMRPC, I probably wouldn't go. I have a hard enough time getting myself down there when it's only 40 minutes each way.

I don't know the Titusville club, but I'm in north Melbourne. The only place I'm sure has an archery area is even farther south, though.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Whickam Park Archery looks promising.

The Wickham Park range is great.

Note: you do not need to be a member of the club. I believe Brevard Archery Club maintains it, but it is open to the public.

Dawn to dusk, and 7 days a week (I believe). Go in the main entrance and take a right, the entrance is less than a quarter of the way around on the right.

Gobblers Lodge 3D Archery Range is brand new in Osteen. Google it.
