I know it is cold - but we haven't had that long of a cold snap so water temps shouldn't be that low - plus there was almost a 20 degree temp swing between 7 AM and 2PM. I was thinking the bite might turn on if you can find where the fish are sulking. I'm thinking the bit deeper water around the creek mouths/flat edges because I don't think the flats will warm up enough..........or am I just having cabin fever so should give it up and clean the garage?
There are only so many casts in life, so shut up and fish!!

How has the fishing been recently? I'm thinking about going this weekend, but the water was nice and poopy when I drove by this past weekend.
I haven't been since Thanksgiving week - had one great day then fishing Haulover for bull reds and another not so great day - for the few weeks prior to that I was out quite a bit but it was hit or miss. The water was high/murky but if you found bait you usually could find a few trout/reds. I was hoping the cold weather would clear things up a bit so I could start working potholes again - but as mentioned I haven't been yet.
