Nice work. Was this shot on a DSLR? Also, what tool did you use to edit? Specifically my question is what filter, or tool did you use to get the scratches? Thanks.
Here is a similar idea I did for Jennifer and her street painting at Silver Dollar City a few years ago. Enjoy.

Yes, this was shot on my Canon T3 Rebel with standard 18mm-55mm lens.
I used Premiere Pro CC to edit it (rather quickly I might add) and added a Monochrome preset and then adjusted that for more of a Sepia tone. I then found some free stock Super 8 footage from a guy on Vimeo https://vimeo.com/29185333. Took that and added it above the original footage and changed the blending mode of the Super 8 to "multiply" and presto...instant old wanna be film.
I was prepared to shoot video so there is a little wind noise in the audio, but I did not want to spend to much time trying to strip it out.
First, Jennifer does some amazing work and I enjoy seeing her work. To be able to think on the creative level is unreal!
Your video is pretty good and I enjoyed your transitions etc...Looks like some of your frame sizes are different from your composition or sequence setting (i.e. doesn't fill screen). You can fix that pretty easy in Premiere by selecting "Set to Frame" by right clicking on your footage in the work area and it will automatically scale it up or down to the size of your comp. I had to do that with the one I just created because it was shot at 720p and not 1080p so I had to scale it up to match the 1080p for a more High Definition look.
I'm no expert though and still learning as I go...
