Hello Everyone,
I live and St. Pete and fish the Tampa bay are often and can consistently catch fish. 4 or 5 times a year I'll tow my bay boat over to the east coast and fish in the Melbourne area with my dad who's retired. We've fished the spoil islands around the Sebastian inlet, the Sebastian river, the Banana River flats and docks and generally don't have much success. Its a large area to learn and all we've really been able to land are some small trout, 1 redfish, and a couple sheepshead.
It takes time to learn new areas next time I go over there, probably in April, we'd like to hire a captain to go out on our boat and cut down the learning curve. Any recommendations would be helpful, thanks
