Quick Gordon Pass, Keewaydin Report

Launched out of Bay View Park this morning and quickly picked up three snook close to Gordon Pass. Couldn't find white bait close by and decided to use shrimp and artificial. (We did see a ton of white bait just offshore with about a million mackerel around but didn't feel like chasing them) We thought we were going to have a great day based on the first 30 minutes but the bite turned off and just caught a few trash fish the rest of the day. Water is cold, wind was blowing, and the fish were apparently sleeping today. Still had a great day on the water.

Same here. Just did not seem to be biting. Did manage an inshore slam but fished all over to get it. Nice day to be on the water.
