what area? I general fish between Lemon Bluff and Hatbill. I have not been out yet this year but I do report when I go. It never impacts myself catching fish if other folks are fishing the same area. It is helpful to get an idea of the movements if we know where and how many others are getting some. Thanks for any info and best of luck!
Thank you! I do appreciate. I got over Sunday. Caught Three in about an hour and change. Windy but not terrible and very overcast, sun came out a little around 4 o'clock.
Fished a hundred yards north (towards the bridge) of the Econ confluence. Used 1 1/2" curly tails on 1/16 to 1/4 jig heads in various combos tied tandem on 6lb with 10lb leaders. The chartreuse with silver/black glitter caught all of them. I also threw black. The fish were average and the small was 16" the other two 18&19 but they were thicker than what I would call average. Hopefully a good sign of things to come! Thank you to everyone that throws out a little "intel" on the shad run. I don't get to fish often but I do genuinely love when other folks are assisting. Best to you all! Enjoy !
hitting the river(46 area north towards harney).Hoping to hit some crappie, and if shad hit will be bonus anything to get a tight line.Ill post on how i do
Two lines trolling Shad Darts (all colors working) THE Shad Alley, near Lake Jessup, avg 15 per morning in a few hours. Fly guys getting some just north of the Econ Mouth, in the main river. Guys SPEC fishing in Harney are catching a few Shad as bi-catch.
White Pelicans (month ago) and the Gulls have showed up. Getting ready to get fired up out there on the St Johns. A few LARGE fat Daddy Sunshine Bass (over 6#) are showing up/been caught. Largemouth doing well on Plastics in the morning, I do not Bed fish so not certain but the activity says they are getting ready.
