4 star decommits from UF, half brother is #1 WR recruit

ZimmerNoleZimmerNole Posts: 9,243 Admiral
Since we talk about 3 star DEs committing to UF I figured I'd post this here.

FSU spin: http://www.tomahawknation.com/2015/11/30/9820658/florida-state-recruit-target-jayvaughn-myers-decommits-from-gators

UF spin: http://www.alligatorarmy.com/2015/11/30/9820248/jayvaughn-myers-decommits-florida-gators-football-recruiting

Ya gotta understand from my point, even if they don't go to FSU and choose LSU, Bama, UT etc as long as they're not in the Orange and Blue it's a win for us :grin

Thanks, but he is still considering UF.

Smart to open up his options and take his time.

He probably didn't like what he saw at the QB position.

Saw that earlier-- shut down computer-- hoped it would go away. Supposedly they are doing separate recruiting , but doesn't look good.
He came with a handler/agent that wouldn't let him talk to anyone. Recruiting sinking to even a lower level if possible. But no longer unusual. Left after the game without talking . It looks like they are all Noles although I believe both would get more immediate PT with us. It's what happens when you get smoked by your rival. Muschump-- the gift that keeps giving.

It really is apparent how far Muschump put you guys behind, so many things besides just the play calling. Should make alot of AD's very scared about hiring a new coach.

Better hope Clemson doesn't take the NC. They'll be running there next.

'champ had a few top 10 classes per the 'crootin rankings.
Thank you for helping the point.

UF just got the number 5 QB, and number 2 is thinking about the Gators now that M.R is done with the dawgs....
For the love of all outdoors recreational activities....what my spelling is off, that will learn ya. Pimping ain't easy unless u went to FSU, its a BS course.
What do u get when you can connect the dots, color inside the lines, and get your release papers.....sentence served, times up at Felon sentenced university.

The only difference between FSU and all the other colleges are other colleges accept you into the university's. At FSU you are taken into custody.

Unfortunate - he looks like a good DB and we were on him before his stock started rising. His half brother the receiver would be a bigger fish but they'll probably both go to the highest bidder. Tre Nixon would be a good addition to this class.

There's nothing wrong with following recruiting as long as you don't take anything too seriously. Things always change before NSD and we're dealing with 18 year olds.

    I hope they do win.

We'll lose some recruits to them, sure, but I don't mind Clemson being good one bit. Helps kill the SEC narrative...

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bagmen of Ole Mi$$ get to them either.

I agree, I love following recruiting, but it has gotten worse and worse each year. Not just for my team, I like following the classes a they come out to watch these kids develop and better understand the progression/regression/growth of teams such as Clemson, UM, UF etc.

Being in SoFla I get to see some of the 7v7 games such as the South Florida Express squad and see these guys ball the hell out. I enjoy it, I'm a rabid football fan a recruiting keeps me occupied and entertained during the off season.

Some get it, some don't. Sorry if you're in the camp of the latter, I'll talk to Larry :grin

But yeah, I agree.....nothing matters until NSD and Fisher, Mac and Dabo are kings of the "NSD flip"
