Tips for Marathon trip with Kids

Taking 4 kids to Marathon over the Christmas/ New years holiday. Any suggestions for snorkeling spots or bottom fishing? Just need to bend the rods to let my nieces experience catching a fish. Will have a 22 CC w a 200hp.
Thanks

Piner is right, Sombrero reef light is a great, protected dive/snorkel spot with mooring balls. Easy and great dive. If you are north (around Vaca cut), Coffins Patch. Protected with mooring balls.

If its not too bad, any of the patches ocean side. Gulf Side....go to steel pile....easy run from Vaca and mixed bag....jut bring lots of chum and bite shouldn't turn off....snapper, bluefish, bluerunners, grunts, trout, mackerel...shark. Good times. Again...chum, chum, chum....
