Alley 11/28/15

Stratos

Been awhile since I've posted (or fished for that matter.) lol

Went out to the Alley today. Water level is still high, but lots of gators swimming and sunning in the canals. Ended up being a slow day where you had to work for every bite. Caught one around 3lbs right off the bat using a swimbait.

From that point on I had to work to catch two oscars, a gar and loss a bass in the 2-2 1/2 lbs range.

Did see Mr. David8477 out on the water, however I was running north when he was running south.

Wasn't sure if that was you, didn't go to the lake then!

Glad to see you out again.

As you said lots of gators, usually a good sign for fish I have found, but a slow day. Ended with one 2-3 pounder and couple of drinks a good size mud and a lot of gar bites.

Yea the Gar and Oscars were out in force on the north end.

What were you using? didn't see any Oscars, although a week ago they we jumping in the boat with shiners.

Most of the day I was using either a jig or a swimbait. Everything that I landed was on the swimbait.
