Meet Call Me Rough N Rowdy

Newest addition to the family. He is an Australian Cattle Dog that is half-brother of Johnny Bandit's dog Pyro. Thanks, Johnny.

    Griz, is this an inside dog? If so, enjoy the middle of the night outings. Mine ended when Sumo was around 14 weeks or so, but when the sun starts to come up he's gonna make sure someone is up to feed him. I was amazed he let me sleep to almost 7:00 this morning. It's amazing how quickly they grow.

    Yes he is. Got him last Saturday and the earliest I have been up is 6:30. No middle of the night and he has not had a mistake in the house until yesterday. Couple of tinkles heading for the door.

    Probably a little over 50 lbs.

    Started doing some training yesterday since I couldn't start with all of the other family dogs around. Sits and is started to heal and come oretty reliably. The healing isn't formal but what he seems to like doing naturally.

    Today is officially one week and he's batting 1000 on not pooping indoors, sleeping through the night and batting 750 on peeing.

    Good looking dog! Congrats.
    I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.
