I'm planning on taking a camping/bass fishing trip w my girlfriend down there mid-December and I was curious if I should bring a outboard (6 hp) or a longtail for my 12 ft jon boat? I've heard that they hydrilla can be pretty tough and I've never actually laid eyes on either lake. Also any suggestions on types of lures that work that time of year would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
