Went out around 9am thought I could manage the waves and the wind by myself. Nope. Too windy and waves are too big for one person to fish and drive the boat. Tried for about 2 hrs gave up turned around and went home :banghead
I tried to go Friday afternoon, but it wasn't happening. I made the call to turn back around 70ft off Jupiter. We did get a few Jacks and a small snook throwing top-waters while pounding some beer though.
At least we didn't have to use our life jackets.

Hats off to you for going out in the slop! :hail
Be careful going in and out of Boynton Inlet on rough days, it can be treacherous.
Nice effort nonetheless.
Good post. It doesn't help that much when folks just post about their "winning" trips. I think that's human nature, but thanks for the post. Some info on rips, water clarity, bait would have added even more. Nice job getting out there. I was at work.

New to the area. Not that many friends who can skip work on Mondays yet.
