Steinhatchee area pointers?

In early November a few friends and I are planning on doing some offshore fishing out of Steinhatchee. Would anyone care to point us in the right direction or area? We plan to do some trolling, and bottom fishing too.

If you hook up trolling, mark the spot and then come back and watch your depth finder for good bottom to fish with typical bottom fishing gear.

Check the Sea **** Marina website... there are a ton of public numbers which should help you get started. I can help you out with inshore pointers if you decide that route too.

I haven't tried it yet but a I was told to go out to around 35' and start trolling, there is supposedly lots of hard bottom. there is lots of hard bottom in close too but it holds mostly sea bass and sheephead.

If you go please follow up with a report. Thanks.
