Boat Tune in Orlando Going out of Business

Drove by their place today and the signs are down. There is a hand painted sign on the fence that says "going out of business sale". Personally I've never done any business there except to buy parts but the parts folks were always helpful. They had a lot of parts in stock last time I was there.

Stopped by today and got a good price on Yamalube. The story is that Bob the owner is quitting the business. Several employees are buying what's left out and will reopen in on Forsyth Road, north of Hanging Moss Road. They will be parts and service only and will not sell boats.

I got a good deal on a trailer there about four years ago, they took good care of me. Good to know they'll still be servicing and selling parts, I work about a mile from their new location.

Years ago I took my mercury 25 there for some work, and when I picked it up, I had to literally explain to the mechanic that motor tilt was supposed to swing free when it was in forward gear. More recently I requested a trailer part and because of miscommunications, it took me 4 visits over 5 weeks before I got the part.
