Need a good printer.

Somebody one has to know about them. I looking for one that you hear fire up and the finished print comes out. Ink Jet maybe????? I'm through with the ones that make all the clunking and shaking and grinding sounds. I doesn't have to print professional looking pictures. I'd like to stay under $400. Thanks guys.

Not doable at $400 for a professional quality photo printer in my opinion.

Canon and Epson are the photo printers you want to look at. Sorry I can't be more help.

I bought a Canon Pro 1. They also make a Pro 10 and Pro 100 model. All different price points. Go to B&H Photo's website for information, pricing and user comments. Chose the Canon over comparable Epson models. B&H should have some good deals with rebates as it gets closer to Christmas. They also bundle Canon DSLR's with printers, usually the Pro 100 printer and paper.
