Jax beach blue angels show

Anyone know if the sea and sky show with the blue angles in jax beach this year is worth seeing by boat? We were thinking of launching out of St Augustine and trying to run the beach toward Jax to watch it.

Absolutely the only way to see it if you have a capable boat and the conditions are decent. Anchor outside the orange buoy right off the pier and you will have the best seat in the house. We did it two years ago and it was awesome.

agree w/ Menzies... We did it a couple times, so close we could feel the heat from the jet exhaust!!!! Great show, especially if it is a nice, flat day...
