This Saturday as part of the Week Five action in college football, we’re going to be treated to one of the most anticipated SEC battles of the entire year. The Alabama Crimson Tide will travel to Athens to take on the Georgia Bulldogs. Well, the opening betting odds were released on Sunday, and there is a pretty notable streak that will be coming to an end.
While it’s pretty narrow at the moment, heading into this SEC showdown on Saturday between the hedges the Georgia Bulldogs are the favorites out in Las Vegas.
For the first time in 72 games, Alabama is not the one being looked at as the eventual victor.
But don't be surprised if Richt gets out coached ...

6 years of being favored. ****. 2 'chips to show for it.
Two chips? 2009, 2011 and 2012 = 3
1. Game is in Athens
2. Bama QB is _______ (I'll be kind, you can fill in the blank)
3. UGA lost the last time the two teams played in the SEC championship
4. I'll be at the game (we lost to Ohio State last time I attended a game)
That checks out. Lol

Hmmmm..........I think the last time UGA was favored in this game they got run out of Sanford Stadium 31-0.
Well, at least the weather was nice.
My apologies, when that happened in the past it was the half time score.Black out at Athens.:smiley-computer
What do u get when you can connect the dots, color inside the lines, and get your release papers.....sentence served, times up at Felon sentenced university.
Floridas first woman's college.
The only difference between FSU and all the other colleges are other colleges accept you into the university's. At FSU you are taken into custody.
This was too easy to call.
Had this game as my 10 in the pick em.
and Alabama's Mother of The Year went home happy ....
Alabama and LSU are still the cream of the crop amongst the Inbred conference teams and that's unlikely to change anytime soon.
Georgia and Ole **** will have multiple losses by seasons end.
I would love to see you post an honest assessment of your team (and the ACC) as it has squeaked by inferior competition so far
I kept telling the Georgia fans sticking it out past the third quarter that a rematch in Atlanta if both teams are lucky enough to get there will be an interesting match up. Take away the pick 6, blocked punt and the rain the game could have been more interesting. Georgia has a great defense and a schedule in their favor. The winner of the cocktail party will in most likelihood be the east representative.
No. This is holy wow. Can a fan base be any doooooochier than these azzclowns? :huh The camera kept panning on them......until they left in the 2nd quarter. :grin
