The tower is completely removable, leaving only fixed aluminum plates inside and outside the cap. Inside the cap are large nut plates with high torque threaded keenserts so that you can install and remove the tower in minutes with a cordless drill. This is a one person operation and the whole tower only weighs about 40 lbs. Dual remote control trolling motors mounted on the transom allows for boat operation from tower.
For traveling or going under low bridges, the tower collapses as shown:
Quick release pins secures the belly band when extended and a threaded hand knob secured it when it is collapsed.

Notice that I also addd 5 rod holders (two for live baiting) and a beverage cup holder in the tower.
