Need advice on removal of headrest 2001 Ford f250

I bought Carhartt seat covers for my old truck and need to remove the headrest to install. YouTube shows a release tab in one video or a small hole to insert a pin to release the headrest after it is fully raised. I don't see any such release and once fully extended,, that's it.

Anyone have useful suggestions on this removal?

I have a 2002 and it just pulls out. Yours may be stuck...or you may have a different seat...post some pics.

Owner's manual doesn't address removal of headrest and Ford forum is where I saw the YouTube links.

For did offer about 7 different seat options within the different models and packages. I know when I got my seat covers it was a big deal figuring out which seat was which.
So my point is,it might not be as easy as it seems.
Parker you need to post the trim package and model, and some pictures.
If you want to save time, call the dealer.

Got them off, thanks for the suggestions. One side of each headrest has a button which protrudes which pushing it allows the headrest to be raise. However, on the other side of each is a button which has to be depressed also thereby allowing the headrest to be removes. It is so flush I was unable to see it in the low light of dusk but found it with no problem this AM.
