Know you said he wants a pick-up but I have an 08' Jeep Liberty 4x4 with 55k miles that I would consider selling for 12.5k. Silver. 10 of 10 mechanically 7 of 10 cosmetic...
Edit: Tow package... pulls my Gordon skiff with ease...
250hp and towing capacity of 5000lbs, I have never heard anything bad about them. If you have heard something bad please share. My wife likes them and was considering one but if they can't tow their capacity let me know.
Thanks. Appreciated. We'll scratch that off the list. But I am sure you can find defects with every car on the road. I was looking at an avalanche in February and then i read about the excessive oil consumption issue some of those motors have (5.3), it kept me from buying what was probably a really nice truck.
People use statistics the way a drunk uses a street light, for support rather than illumination.
My hemi burns synthetic oil at a quart every 1000 or so miles but conventional oil burns less than a quart in 5000 miles...go figure
Our Yukon burned about a qt every 1500 miles. Wasn't really an issue unless we were going on a trip, I'd just fill it before we left and before we came back. It didn't smoke, that's all i cared about.

Well I feel bad. I've had F150s, F250s, and rangers and they all did what they were supposed to do. The only Ford i had that was crap was a contour. That soured me on ford cars forever.

“Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.
That is my prejudice too. My first new car was a '73 Dodge Challenger. Pure lemon and the last Dodge I ever bought. I also owned a Chevy and it was just OK. I owned 3 Fords back to back and 3 Nissans and no serious problems with any of them.
Son does not want a full size pick-up (due to size of where he has to park it) but does want to be able to tow his small boat.
I had a 73 Plymouth Satellite, equally a pieces of junk. Nice looking car but Mopar engine. JUNK!

Reminds me my ram is due for an oil change. I still stick with every 3k like a fool, but whatever

Most vehicles in the shop or up on blocks don't.
I'm sorry I'll stop busting on your Ranger, but you're making it too easy for me! I can't resist sometimes.

Midsized truck? I'd look for a Tacoma.
2001 22k miles! Not bad.
