Grier is not slow-- maybe even faster in the 40 than Treon. Except you can't hardly touch Treon in a phone booth.

    Saying Treon is much smaller/fragile?

The kid is shifty and elusive, sometimes speed isn't the only metric when a QB scrambles. Jameis looks like a baby ostrich when he runs, but he is effective in doing it do to his shiftiness but god was he slow.

What do you think I meant when I said you can't touch him in a phone booth?. That is he's shifty and elusive-- extremely quick rather than just fast. I wasn't implying he was small. FWIW, I'm not pulling for just Grier. I don't care . Whoever can make the offense go best will be my favorite.

Okay, that is what I thought you meant....we're on the same page.

How valuable is TH3's game experience when considered versus Grier?

It's Grier's job to lose at this point. Everyone agrees that our offensive line is our biggest problem. But we may surprise a few people. I have us winning 8 with a little luck and no injuries. But I am optimistic. Treon will play, but Grier will be the starter. Everyone will know which way we are heading by Tennessee.

This year could be the year of "chunk and duck". Much like Pell's first year with a real QB. They didn't have much of a line that year either but remember some nobody named Mike Shanahan? put together a half azzed run and shoot offense with little to no offensive line. That first year Pell was there, they were competitive but the QB broke his leg in the first game of the season so no chance to be competitive after that. That year they went 0-10-1 and gave the Nulls mortal hell in the final game of the season, a lefty walk on QB almost sent them home crying with the only would be loss of their regular season. Always cracks me up, in UF's worst seasons, the fighting cockroaches still tremble especially when playing in the Swamp. This year will be no different. :banana
