Visitors and timing: When are the bext times to fish?
I was looking around for a calendar of sorts that showed when the best times of year to fish for a a targeted species would be.
For example, what time of year is the mullet run? What's the best time of year to try for tarpon? Tripletail? Cobia? etc. etc.
Anyone know where I can find such information? If not on a printable calendar, can anyone give me an educated guess as to when target specie _x_ will be best tackled?
Thanks for any info,

Back when I fished a lot on my own with out the network I have now, each month I would grab the last 3 to 5 years of that month and check the local section for what was normally biting that time of year.
Found it: Thanks Sealeveler
This should atleast point you in right direction!

I'll look some more and post if i can find it but reading any of their catch reports is good. or Just look through the catch reports section here on FS. This is not the one I was thinking of but it's a starting point.

Peak is usually around the beginning of October in this area (Sebastian) ....
Tarpon migrate north in warm weather ...and follow the bait south in Fall.
Many things to do.
Knots to be unraveled
'fore the darkness falls on you
The rest comes from bull****ting at the local tackle shop, asking every local angler you meet their favorite methods (offering a cold frosty beverage of their choice is a great way to get them talking), and lots of casts.
Tight lines!!

No doubt - I think most of us do. I was just looking for a calendar of sorts showing specie and times I could send to those wanting to come down and visit.. Gotta be one out there.
If not, I'll just make one.
There is also a flounder run in December - February I think. Others?
