St Joe Scallops

Went out yesterday for scallops and just finding some singles here and there. Getting similar reports from people we have talked to. Gonna try some different depths today and see what we come up with.

you might have to go deeper to find them, Its more work but likely much less picked over. Ive done good in 6-8ft of water after struggling in the shallower stuff. Let us know how you do.

Reports are saying scallops are thin in St. Joe this year. Heard of a few find good ground though and limiting out quick.

Got 3 gallons in 3 hours on opening day there. All in less than 3ft of water. Good luck!

I can't believe they opened the season so early this year.

They're doing if for tourist revenue. I think it should open in August if they're concerned about the scallop.

Any updates on scallop harvests in the St. Joe Bay? Heard some were trying off Mexico Beach?
