So What Are Your Plans For The Fourth Weekend?
And what do you get off work?
Great that it is on a Saturday this year! I am taking Thursday off and get Friday off in lieu.
We are going to cruise down with a group of boats from Jacksonville to Palm Coast and tie up at the Hammock Beach Resort marina. Bought a brand new Old Glory for the aft flagstaff.
Docktail party on Thurday at the marina with booze and grub. Then hang out at the beach and resort Friday before BBQ and fireworks Friday night at the resort (they don't want to clash with St Augustine and Daytona on Saturday).
More beach and resort on Sat before a 35th wedding anniversary dinner Saturday evening, somewhere in Palm Coast (thinking La Piazza in European Village).
Then head back to JAX on Sunday.

We will also float the whitewater section of the Weber River (in that inflatable canoe) at least once, BBQ in the yard, hit the water park and otherwise try to keep cool.
It has been over 100 everyday for 1 1/2 weeks and is expected to stay that way for another week at least.
Go ahead and put in at Sister's Creek and cruise on down to Palm Coast!
