Kalashnikov USA

Kalashnikov USA announced on Tuesday that it is now selling AK-47 assault rifles and shotguns that have been manufactured at a U.S. factory.

The Kalashnikov USA web site provides a menu of two rifles and two shotguns, all semiautomatics. One of the rifles features a curved, banana-style high-capacity magazine with 30 rounds.

Super mass produced stamped out of junk metal....loose tolerances ...very old design. Perfect for the sub 70 IQ war fighter.

There are SO MANY far superior weapons today.... I laugh when I hear someone bought one.

When is it not? Sure there are higher cap mags but most are not reliable and throw off the weapon's balance.

But they look cool when walking around an airport...

The "AK" was designed as a battlefield rifle......nothing more....

One of the thoughts behind the design was the life expectancy of the guy being issued that rifle.

The Chinese and Soviets didn't give their people very long on the front....

I have had one for 30 years....it has over 5 thousand rounds through it.

It still shoots 2MOA and at 300 yards it does what it was designed for.

The site has auto-loading rifles and shotguns, I didn't see any AK-47s or other assault rifles.
The one with rails is hideous.

You fellers are missing the point. Even the Russians like the marketplace in the USA and recognize value in the second amendment so they found a US partner. An AK for $250-$300, sure. One of the rifles or shotguns on the website? No thanks.
