That's pretty cool I guess. We'll see if it takes off, no pun intended.

Apparently, Lily and power lines don't mix too well...but offshore trolling with Lily following the boat, right over the spread...that would be some good footage.

I saw folks launch a drone off of their boat in the ICW last year. I thought it a rather unwise choice but I guess it's their money.

I am thinking that once existing drones add follow-me technology as well as remote control LILY may be redundant - unless LILY adds remote control functionality in the future - in which case it is better to wait.

I guess the selfie stick wasn't quite enough? Now we need to see ourselves do everything?:huh

    Man I'm getting old.

Don't worry, it needs a minimum of 10 feet, so most bedroom ceilings won't work! :)

Haha...you mean you don't want a video of your life from cradle to grave? You are right, though...I see it all the time. People attending a concert, and watching it through their phone while recording it... or a day at Walt Disney through a viewfinder. Really? I read a study that contends actually watching an event produces a more permanent memory, complete with feelings of joy upon recalling the event...even more than viewing a photo or video alone. This camera doesn't seem quite as bad in that respect, since you can still concentrate on the event at hand.

Said that this one doesn't have an avoidance detection system.
But he will get one when that is available.

    Pretty cool.
The little winky eyes really seal the deal.
I have never seen live bones, but I know that they are often used by rich people to decorate the interior.

Looks like a cross between a Roomba and drone..........teach her to vacuum floors and it's a deal.
