They tell me my head will be out. That's not good enough. Will my arms be out? Why do you have to be in up to your neck for a MRI on your knee? I didn't used to care but now find myself claustrophobic among other things. My son went in recently for a MRI on his shoulder head first. ****? I would rather die.

If I have a way out on my own no problem. Stick me in a tube barely bigger than me with no way out other than to call for help not good.Funny thing is when I was young I had no issues and no worries.
Also be a man and go.for the no sedation wisdom teeth pull. 15 minutes and.you're driving home
unless you twitch a lot when you sleep….if you do then i don't recommend falling asleep it'll take multiple attempts for them to get a clear picture. trust me I've had many mris that had to be redone.
Everything was going well until they hit my chest...it just didn't fit.
.....with a nurse pulling on both arms....and a great big guy pushing the table in while saying exhale....they finally got me in that torpedo tube with nothing sticking out but my arms.
If I was claustrophobic I probably would have died....
Was in a bit of pain and didn't care at the time

The sound annoys me more than the tight fit with my NFL lineman like body.
I hear that in Ocala they have an "open MRI", but that there might be a waiting list.
Getting to the point i cannot be strapped in to those rides at the theme parks. I don't like being enclosed, or restrained. I wonder why that has changed as i have gotten older. Almost lost it on spaceship earth, that was like being in a coffin.
I had the same issue when I did a partial tear of my bicep (stupidly protecting boat from piling). I was in so much pain and not able to move.
At least we can get married now!
