Oversize Trailer Requirements.

EvergladesEverglades Boca Raton & IslamoradaPosts: 111 Deckhand
I have a 2009 Venture 27 Open that has always been used in the water. I just ordered a trailer for the boat to take it down to Islamorada for a couple of weeks next month. I know about the oversize permit for larger boats and would like to get a clarification on it. Does anyone have one that is filled out that they can blank out their personal information as a reference?

The boat has a 9' beam so I am already over the 8'6" slot.

I know I need the permit and flags on the front of the truck and back of the boat.

Do I need them on the widest part of the trailer, the guide posts? If so where is the best place to get them and are there any specific size requirements for them?

Do I have to stop at the weigh station on Plantation Key?

Thanks in advance for your help.
