Pretty good day on the water. Great crew and great wx conditions for the most part. One nasty cell over area I wanted to fish. Fortunately it most of the lightning stopped as sun came up and then it burned out.

Fishing was a bit slow. I figured wed get our 12 snapper one way or the other so I decided to red grouper and scamp fish and just pick a snapper here and there. Worked pretty well. No huge fish. Most noteworthy was a red grouper that probably went 17 pounds. Fish were all full of bait. Going to trout fish next Sat!

Nice haul. Congrats on the fire truck and that red snapper in the front looks like a grown one!

Weather looks rough for next weekend for the offshore folks.

Yes, it was a real nice day out there on Saturday. You had a much better day out there than we did. Those are some nice size fish. Glad you got on some red grouper.....we struck out on them. Don't guess I've ever seen a sand tile; never heard of them.

We did try the panhandler running between spots. Tried to put your advice to good use. But, like you it was to no avail. I've got a lot to learn doing that. Most of which is rigging & learning the right knots.....easier said than done. HaHa!! Just need to keep practicing.

Nice work, maybe one day i will get right crew on board and clear the rocks by 4:30 am. Would extend a day trip nicely.
