Looking for a good scope

I'm looking for a good (not Walmart/made it n China) scope for target shooting out to 400 yards or so. My old eyes say a 3x9 just doesn't quite cut it these days. I can pay up to 350 or so, and/or can trade 22 rifle(s) or ammunition if that helps. Please PM with responses as I can't check in here often. Thanks!
