Went on my buddies 21 scout for the maiden voyage offshore. He wanted me to show him how it was done. Well it was pretty rough we only averaged 15 knots. Got out to 90' around 9:30 and put lines in. Weeds and flyers every where I worked hard all day clearing weeds. Got our first mahi after an hour of trolling. 20lb bull. Got lines back at and had one jump off. Got the next fish a 8lb cow maybe 30 min later. Trolled out to 200' had a fish hit my daisy chain that smoked out tld never saw it. It bit a hookless squid. Got back to 140 hooked to a solid fish on pink and white bullet head mono rig. We fought him for 30min got him to the boat and sunk the gaff 40-50lb wahoo he was fat. Put lines in 10 minutes later nice bull on. The guy fighting him, it was his first time offshore, and first mahi 20 min later I sunk the gaff in a 28lb bull. Had one more peanut in 120 then called it a good day. In by 5:30

Nice job. That is a great day, especially with a new boat and inexperienced crew.
