I've been so busy with work that I forgot to write up a fishing report from last weekend!
Bait was super thick two massive balls of threadfins and scaled sardines all mixed together on top of large schools of mullet passing through the inlet.
Fishing was hot but the weather was hotter, we ended up getting two slot snook, mine being 29 1/2" and my friends 28".
Had a lot of lost upper sized snook as well but we couldnt go heavy on the leader because of how clear the water was (we were throwing 20# floro leader).
I also ended up taking a nice spanish mac home as well.

I went fishing again yesterday at the jetty but these east winds have pushed way too much grass into the inlet. Bait is still there just beyond the spur, the pelicans were diving like crazy.
As always good luck and tight lines!

Awesome job catching the bait.
It's nice to see it making it's way back to our waters.
We are going across in a week and will be catching some to keep with us to offer "candy" to some of the fish over there.
Take care
Cheers
