Cavaneral Fishing For Kings

Im here on left coast but will be in the area mid June for tourney. Have fishing over there several times but its been years. I know that to the south is the Pines and that you have places like Pelican Flats, High Bar, A8, Benson, the Rock etc etc. A8 & the Rock seemed to be full of kingfish years ago but also sharp snaggled tooth inhabitants such cuda city.

Question: are there many kings on the beach (remember this mid June) when pogies are in?

Next is bait and I remember tons of bait around a spillway at night? ribbonfish at night? mullet and of course the ever popular blue runners.

I would think that this time of year if the pogies are thick on the beach there should be some kings too. But the word lately is the bait is a little tough to get plus with a 15kt east wind it can make it a little difficult too

There are No Kings or Bait anywhere between the 18th and 21st of June :-)
