Islamorada Slammer dolphin, swords, and grouper

Dolphin fishing has really picked up for us over the past week down here in Islamorada. Every day has been a little different, and it can still be a little hit or miss, but we had a few outstanding trips over the weekend. On Friday while it was still flat glassy calm we got out and had a great day with a box full really nice schoolies and gaffers as well as this 40# bull.
Although windy and rough, the rest of the weekend was decent with more nice schoolies and gaffers and then Yesterday, memorial day we had another spectacular trip with another box full of fish including this bull that went 46#.
Both of the 40 pounders where caught sight casting live bait on 20# spinning tackle. The mahi fishing hasn't been the only thing going on down here. swordfishing has also been very good for us when we've gone. We caught this 250 pounder the weekend before. It was a nice streak of swordfishing for us as we caught a small fish the trip before and a 90 pounder the day after this fish.
Finally we're still catching some nice groupers bottom fishing. We've been catching a couple a trip when we target them including this one that went 46# about a week and a half ago.

Thanks for all the positive feedback everybody. We caught that one on a rainbow runner belly. We usually use dolphin bellies and rarely use squid anymore. The dolphin have been in different depths everyday. It was really rough out today, but the fish where close. about 9 miles or 400' plenty of schoolies and gaffers. The bigger fish in those pictures where caught in about 800' of water.
