Indian river lagoon fishing report

Fished the docks south cocoa/rockledge area. The early morning bite was really slow I was throwing top water then switched to gulp shrimp still nothing, but I stuck it out and kept on fishing about 2 feet of water. Around noon hooked up with a 26.5 slot red on a gulp shrimp. I knew it was on from there after that caught 3 18 inch reds and it was about 3:00 so I went in and had some lunch in port at john at skeeters lagoon with my brother that was in town, after talking to him I decided to head back out and hit the northern docks in port for some trout and it paid off. Caught a 19 and 25. The red fish have been pretty easy to find for the mid day bite early morning hasn't really produced.
