Home Ten Thousand Islands General Fishing & The Outdoors

Stellar Alignment, Spring has sprung!

It is the most wonderful time of the year here in south west Florida. Warmer weather, less traffic, sno birds heading out, and the arrival of migrating tarpon and snook moving into passes is just the cherry to top off this sweet bowl of summer time in Naples. Got in a fantastic camp out and fishing nearly every Sunday between the Monday to Saturday work schedule... Recently this past Sunday the 3rd, I found the most sever itch to just slam down the binnacle on the old skiff and see how far we can make it on a half fuel tank leaving the other half to get back. Chokoloskee was the perfect entry point, left out of outdoor resort, ran up Turner river ran the whole back way down to Broad river. Such a beautiful ride and not an ugly sight until at least Homestead i would guess. Sight fished a couple beautiful snook and reds. Here is an update on some recent activities since March hope this video can get ya'll pumped up and itchin for some fish. https://vimeo.com/127101113
