Offshore has been so iffy I have been hitting my old inshore holes lately. Fished Tuesday during the rainstorm and the trout were going crazy. Managed 4 keepers. Lost a Red tangled in mangroves. Went back out with my youngest son from 7-9:30p and got a keeper Red first spot. Caught a few dink trout too. Travis caught the lady on topwater red/white mirroplug. Saved for chunking. He then hooked a huge red, which pulled him into mangroves and gave him a story to tell his friends about the monster that got away....oh, and the 7' gator that was hunting us.

I saved my ladyfish from today also...supposed to be sunny tomorrow and it makes a good bait to pitch in front of a Red...
Many things to do.
Knots to be unraveled

10a-2p. It was overcast and sprinkling. The big trout don't normally hit after 10a, as the sun starts baking they go deep. But you can catch dinks all day. I normally target reds in the shade, which there's plenty of mangroves to choose from out there. All trout and reds were caught on live nose hooked finger mullet.
