Thinking of cutting cable, between Netflix, Hulu, and digital cable I think we would be ok. What have ya'll experiences been and what antennae's are ya'll using? Thanks

I haven't found a decent antenna myself. I have an indoor and it gets two channels. We put up an outside one at my brothers house about 20' high and get 4 or 5 channels. I think I need to go higher on his. Buy an omnidirectional outdoor antenna if you can put up an outside one where you live. Go as tall as possible. The amplifiers don't seem to help. A lot will depend on how far you are away from the broadcast towers. I dropped cable about 5 five years or so and have not been disappointed. Weather and everything else seems to effect the digital signal and unlike analog, no fuzzy picture. It is either there or not.
Cut cable and try just plugging your coax into the wall. You might get basic over the air stations. I do Now and did with comcast in Stuart a couple years ago. I even get TBS
No antenna needed, you all

Not gonna work for me since there is no cable where I am at.
We cut the dish 5-6 yrs ago and only have digital TV and Netflix. We get 11 channels on all of our TV's with 2 different types of indoor antennas. one is a bat wing style and one is a long thin flat bar looking thing. We live out in the country too.

We did an rca antenna at a buddy of mines house about 60 miles southeast of nashville and get a bunch of channels from Nashville and Chattanooga We put it about thirty-five foot up. When we installed the amplifier we got more channel's.

I think the height is the problem at my brothers house. We tried an amplifier at his house and it made little difference. Maybe with some added height it will.

I have the bar type. Must be where I am located. Says it will pick up 30 miles.
Am admittedly stupid and spoiled and pay Comcast a ridiculous amount of money each month for high speed digital access plus about 400 different TV channels? . . . only several of which I watch.

And you can watch anything without cable. Anything
I watch it. I think it is HULU that has it.

Where did you live in Stuart?
So you can use two antennas at the same time?

Cool, I have probably logged thousand of hours in at those racquet ball courts. Practically grew up there.
