Surfing for Snook

Didn't get any. Sorry if I got your hopes up. I fished Indialantic yesterday evening with Croakers and didn't get a single bump.

Weight or free line?
If you are using a weight, egg or crimped to the leader?
Circle or J?
Where you hookin the croaker?

Haha, I have many trips of not catching any fish, I usually only post the good reports.

I use swivel to about 4' of 50lb mono to 4/0 circle, then off the top eye of the swivel I tie about 1' of 10lb mono to a 3oz pyramid. I hook he Croaker in the tail.

Ok everyone, go hate on my rig. .... It works for me.

I constantly have people on the beach telling me my weight is too big and I "should use a circle weight that slides".

fish a couple hours monday evening. beach was like a lake only had one mullet gummed up thats it.
