Great day off boynton. Landed first marlin

Had family in town to fish fri and sat. Fri got 4 fins and a couple Bonita then sat found the weed and put a couple really nice fins in the boat. Also got first marlin. :willynilly. Marlin was a great fight jumping like crazy!!

They are around, either get lucky or specifically target them.....and it just doesn't seem that many people are willing to do it on our side of the stream.....the big blues are here when the boneheads get hot and heavy......live bonito on a 80 wide will do it.....just put in the time...

nice job on the White Marlin, I'm still hoping for one one day they are definitely on my bucket list got a special place for them right between the coleslaw and hush puppies, had some smoked Marlin in the Bahamas it was fantastic

it has such a nice lite pink color to it, probably a very delicate flavor also, I keep hoping someday the stars will line up and reward me, proper care after the catch is essential

They are great eating...I used to keep a sail a day for the smoker...if it's legal go for it...Marlin too...great eating fish...about mid nineties the throw em back crowd some how convinced people to let em go...another great fish I love eating is permit...and don't overlook bonefish....
